National Carers Week 2025 (Sunday 12th to Saturday 18th October), is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the invaluable work of Australia’s unpaid family carers. These individuals provide essential care to family members or friends with disability, chronic health conditions, mental health challenges or who are frail due to age.
As the leading organisation advocating for carers in Western Australia, Carers WA is excited to offer Community Activity Grants in partnership with Lotterywest.
These grants, ranging from $500 to $800 (excluding GST), are available to not-for-profit organisations and community groups interested in hosting an event or activity during the week.

Applications open: Monday, 14th July 2025
Applications close: Monday, 11th August 2025
Outcome advised: By Friday, 29th August 2025
Activities to be held during: Sunday, 12th – Saturday 18th October 2025
