The WA Health Promoting Schools Association Inc. (WAHPSA) has recently completed a 12 month project funded by Healthway to assist schools in their journey to becoming a health promoting school.
The launch of the third edition of the ‘What is a health promoting school?’ book at the Department of Education was a significant event for WAHPSA. They were honoured to have the Education WA Director General, Jay Peckitt officially open the event, plus representatives from the 10 case study schools featured, key stakeholders, past WAHPSA members and contributors to the first or second edition of the book in attendance.
