The Cyril Jackson Health Festival aims to create links that promote healthy lifestyles, which in turn will assist in achieving personal and educational goals. It is an opportunity to introduce students to community agencies that provide health services, information and support. Many Cyril Jackson students return to school after years away from the classroom and therefore require considerable support in their endeavours to succeed in their studies. The school has a number of newly arrived students who have only been in Australia for a short time.
The annual CJ Health Festival features over 60 displays ranging from sexual health to road awareness, from healthy eating to drug safety. Students from other metropolitan high schools also attend.
If your agency is interested in having an interactive stall on Wednesday 15 May, please complete CJ Fest booking form. More information is available here, or contact Deb Fitzsimons via email debra.fitzsimons@education.wa.edu.au or phone 9413 4709.
