Council Council Western Australia has just launched two promotions to help WA kids eat more vegies, get outside and be SunSmart (don’t worry, you don’t have to do them all at once!).
SunSmart/Nature Play WA Mission Competition
Kids 8 years and under are invited to complete a Nature Play mission. You can check out a sunset, create a sundial, climb a shady tree, have an outdoor picnic, create a chalk shadow or make a shady cubby. Just make sure you’re being SunSmart, take a photo and send it in to Cancer Council by Friday 24 March 2017 to enter. Suitable for schools, child care services, clubs or families to enter.

Crunch&Sip’s March Munch
Want a fun way to encourage kids to snack on vegies, while also kick starting the Crunch&Sip program for the year? Western Australian primary schools are invited to sign up classrooms to participate in March Munch, an event that challenges students to choose vegetables for Crunch&Sip.
Registered classrooms will receive March Munch colour-in challenge cards and stickers for each student, incentive prizes, fun worksheets for students to analyse and graph their vegie eating data, and more! Participating classrooms will go in the draw to win one of two classroom prize packs. We will also be awarding two special prizes to the ‘Best Vegie Munchers in the West’ – classrooms that have the highest % of students crunching on vegetables during the March Munch.
