The annual Cyril Jackson Wellbeing and Harmony Day Event was held on Wednesday the 8 May 2024 at Cyril Jackson Senior Campus in Bassendean.
We heard from Cyril Jackson student Hanifa Yousofi, as well as special guests from Edith Cowan University (ECU) School of Education and Children’s University Australasia:
- Presentation, ‘Prepare Produce Provide’, Cath MacDougall, Arts and Enterprise (Hospitality) Teacher
- Dr Julie Boston, Edith Cowan University Preservice teachers extra curricular education – How can WAHPSA Members participate
- Donna Gallinagh, Edith Cowan University: Children’s University – Partnering to support and nurture personal and academic development of WA children.
The guest speakers had everyone engaged, plus we enjoyed the most amazing breakfast prepared by the students in Jackson’s Cafe.
A huge thanks to Deb for coordinating this fabulous event, we look forward to returning once again in 2025.
