The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) is pleased to announce that the YACWA Small Grants Program – supported by Lotterywest – has returned. These small grants will provide financial support to organisations to enrich programs that meet the needs of young people in their community. Organisations can apply for $1,000 to $10,000 ($340,000 pool).
The grants will need to address one or both of the following two (2) areas:

Early intervention and prevention to improve young people’s mental health and/or building communities and connections for young people

Engage young people who are at risk of entering the youth justice system
Priority consideration will be given to organisations who:

Operate in regional/rural/remote areas, especially the Pilbara, Kimberley, and Great Southern

Engage with First Nations young people
Organisations who are eligible are:
-
Not-For-Profit Organisations
-
Local Government Associations
-
Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
-
Community Groups with auspiced agreements from an incorporated association
Grant applications will open on the 13th of October through this link. Applications strictly close at 5pm on the 12th of December.
