Healthway will be hosting a presentation by Dr Sara Kirk, Scientific Director of the Healthy Populations Institute in Canada on 11th February 2025 between 9 – 11am.

- Dr Kirk will be presenting on best practice health promotion targeting children and young people, particularly focusing on the school setting. The approach and learnings from the Uplift Partnership in Canada will be shared, which has been a successful system based program.
- The WA Health Promoting Schools Association will also be presenting information on a current project titled “What is a Health Promoting School? Increasing health literacy in Western Australian schools”.
- Healthway will launch the Healthy Schools Grants Program for 2025.
The presentation will be suitable for Health and Wellbeing teachers/school representatives, Principles, and any other program or policy makers working to promote children’s health and wellbeing.
